AIRCRAFT RADIO USE, PRACTICES & PROCEDURES

BRIEFING

When: After flying,

Saturday 24 May 2003,

and repeated

Saturday 14 June 2003.

Purpose: To enhance Club pilot’s understanding, practices and use of radio’s installed in gliders.

Where: Clubrooms, BGC Airfield.

Format:

a) Notes, will be provided prior to the briefing session to allow attendees to pre-read.

b) Explanation and Discussion.

c) Demonstration & Practice

d) Examination, for Radio endorsement of Log Book.

Desired Outcome: All Club pilots achieve a Log Book endorsement for use of radio in the aeronautical mobile radio network.

Attendees need to,

1. Place your name on the list under the desired date.

2. Obtain a copy of the Briefing Notes and read these prior to the briefing.

3. Bring a pen / pencil for Notes.
